Parmi les diff\u00e9rents thermoplastiques, le PVC est relativement plus r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau et fonctionne bien dans les applications qui entrent en contact avec celle-ci. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien que le polyur\u00e9thane soit un excellent produit pour son application face aux graisses animales et aux huiles v\u00e9g\u00e9tales, \u00e0 l&rsquo;abrasion et aux hautes temp\u00e9ratures (jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 90 \u00b0C), il a tendance \u00e0 se d\u00e9grader irr\u00e9versiblement lorsqu&rsquo;il est expos\u00e9 \u00e0 des environnements tr\u00e8s humides et chauds, pouvant m\u00eame entra\u00eener la formation de champignons \u00e0 sa surface.
