Combustible particles suspended and dispersed in the air at a certain concentration can cause an explosion if the three main factors are present:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Dust of a certain size and concentration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The oxidizer (oxygen) that produces the combustion process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. An ignition point or heat source (sparks produced by static electricity).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Processes in which dust and particles are present are more susceptible to the risk of explosions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    esbelt\u00ae<\/strong> collaborates in the prevention of explosion risks by manufacturing anti-explosive belts (ATEX) in the DRAGO<\/a>, ESPOT<\/a>, and FEBOR<\/a> series. These are antistatic belts according to the ISO284 standard, meaning they do not accumulate static electricity, thus preventing sparks that could act as an ignition source for an explosion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our belts are certified according to Directive 2014\/34\/EU<\/a> as non-electrical components used in equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and ATEX-Category 2<\/a> according to EN13463-5:2011<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
