Among the different thermoplastics, PVC is relatively more resistant to water and performs well in applications that come into contact with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although polyurethane is an excellent product for applications involving animal fats and vegetable oils, abrasion, and high temperatures (up to 90\u00baC), it tends to degrade irreversibly when exposed to very humid and hot environments, and mold may even form on its surface.
