{"id":4388,"date":"2025-08-13T16:52:02","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T14:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esbelt.com\/productos\/materiales\/polyolefin-tpo\/"},"modified":"2025-12-22T14:05:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T13:05:11","slug":"polyolefin-tpo","status":"publish","type":"material","link":"https:\/\/www.esbelt.com\/en\/products\/materials\/polyolefin-tpo\/","title":{"rendered":"Polyolefin (TPO)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the material<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The generic name Polyolefin includes all plastic materials synthesized from short-chain aliphatic hydrocarbons (olefin) that are joined one after another to form a long chain with a high molecular weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Polyolefins include polyethylene, polypropylene, as well as other polymers of lesser commercial importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In general, all polymers formed from olefins have excellent chemical resistance, low density, are translucent or transparent, and in many cases flexible even at low temperatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike plasticized PVC, polyolefins do not contain plasticizers or other components that can be easily extracted. Their combustion forms almost exclusively carbon dioxide and water vapor, with no possibility of releasing nitrogenous or halogenated compounds.
